Image compression is the difference between a page that loads in one second and a page that loads in four. Most images on the web are shipped at double the size they need; a quick compress at a visually-indistinguishable quality setting will trim 60-80% off the file size with no visible quality drop. That is a page-speed win, a bandwidth-bill win, and a mobile-user win.
This tool compresses one image per request in its original format. Nothing else about the image is touched: same pixels, same colours, same dimensions. The only thing that changes is the file size.
Every upload is only held while we process it. The compressed result is served with a one-time download link and is deleted once you fetch it (or sooner, if you never come back). No account ties the upload to your identity, nothing is saved, and the Privacy page lists every byte that ever touches a disk.
